This week, the Springs of Hope Foundation team carried out a food distribution in Sewarage, Nakuru. We delivered 60 hampers to some of the community’s most vulnerable residents. Elderly couples, single mothers, and individuals living with disabilities received packages filled with everyday food items, enough to last a week or two, and bring some comfort during tough times.
For those who couldn’t make it to the collection point, family members came on their behalf, making sure no one missed out. Many residents expressed how much it meant to be remembered, that someone thought of them and cared enough to show up.
Life in Sewerage isn’t easy. Families here face daily struggles just to meet basic needs. For many, help doesn’t come often; that’s why days like this matter. The food hampers don’t just fill stomachs; they bring relief, peace of mind, and a sense of connection.
One elderly man summed it up: “Thank you, and may God bless you.” Throughout this food distribution in Sewerage, Nakuru, we saw how simple acts of kindness can bring lasting relief and connection.
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, these hampers are more than just groceries. They give families a small break, a chance to breathe, and a plan for the days ahead. Each visit strengthens the bond between our team and the community, reminding us all that kindness still makes the biggest difference.
By the end of the day, Sewarage was full of smiles, laughter, and gratitude.
